Backfire after shutoffDU>

Oh learned listers. My Spit has an interesting problem. When I shut it off
after driving about, it makes a pop from the exhaust. It isn't the Saturday
Night Special blast that I usually associate with a car backfiring. But, it
is loud enough to take notice of. Any input on it, will be gratefully
accepted.
