A while back someone mentioned that laquer thinner, which is toluene, could be used to boost octane. So two questions: 1. Did I get this right - was it toluene? 2. What proportions are used to raise the octane by how much? Please, if just a bit of toluene is used, specify whether your directions are for American or Imperial gallons. Thanks, Jim Wallace |
