I wrangled with the idea of selling my BugEye sprite for several weeks
now. It is a great little car but I am in way over my head. What I
really need is something driveable that I can putter on. So the car is
back for sale or trade. $2500 or trade for Tiumph, MGA or possible a
later spridget. Hopefully the trade will be a decent driver and have
wire wheels?
My Bugeye is a solid California car that has been dipped stripped and
primed. I have about 85% of the parts to put it back together. It does
need some minor bodywork and the only pain is that the seats will need
to be completely recovered.
It comes with a professionally rebuilt 948cc engine and a smoothcase
trans. I have tons of books ; Restoration and factory manuals. Also
many spares including new wire harness, new master cyl etc.etc.
So if there is someone out there with a LBC that has faded paint but
still runs well and it needs a home, e-mail me.
The BugEye would be a snap to restore for someone with a little more
