It reminds me of the old "where's the beef commercial"
Where's the spitfire? Actually,(though yours looks like a much better
idea!) it kind of reminds me of a guy that stopped at my house once
looking for the owner of my old BMW. He liked the style and wanted to
mate it (or one like it) to the frame/engine/suspension of an old Impala
with a 454(?). I just about got sick, and though I knew of a couple for
sale, I lied and told him I had no idea where he could find one since I
wouldn't want to be to blame for that mess.
Since there's so much to improve on a Spitfire and I've never found
anything sacred about it's cheap sheet metal and funky electronics, your
car looks like it'll be groovy. Wave at me when you blow by as I sputter
up the slow lane getting passed by little Toyota trucks and
Winnebagos....
