I pulled the front suspension of my TR6 apart today for a total rebuild
and found the right front vertical link had a drill bit broke off deep
inside the drilled out bottom that connects to the zerk fitting. I am
having trouble getting it out. It blocks the flow of oil. Or more
accurately the hole is not completely drilled through. Any suggestions
as to how to get it out? I am convinced this is the way it was shipped
from the factory, what great quality control! I really do not want to
install it like this, as I will not be able to oil it. No wonder it has
worn more than the other side.
Also, the manual says 90 weight gear oil in the trunions. Is this still
the preferred method of lubrication of the trunion?
