Are you still looking for a manifold. You may remember that I have some
sort of TR4 (A?) type manifold hanging around. I know it came off a TR4,
and had Strombergs attached to it, however I am not sure that it isn't the
same as the 4A type. I looked at some photos of the engine compartment
of a TR4A, and the manifold shown there was the same as mine. However,
in the same book I saw a photo of a TR4 and it ALSO had the same intake
manifold as far as I could tell. I wish I could get you a photo of what I
have.

I will try to describe it. It has two carb attachments. These divide into
two
pipes each. There is another pipe connecting the two sets. This pipe is
above the level of the pipes going to the head. On this transverse pipe
is a diagonally oriented widening (blanked off on mine) which looks like
it is intended as the attachment point of a PCV pipe. The diagonal
widening
is oriented with the wide side rearward and toward the engine when mounted
in the car.

Does this sound familiar? Is this a TR4-style? Or a 4A style. Did the
style
change when they switched back to SU's in the middle of the 4A line?
