Securon Automatic Lap & Diagonal Seat Belt P/N 500/30
VB 12-498

These appear to have the rotation and tilt locks, fits like the
OEM ones. Nice NEW black belt that I won't worry about breaking.
These actually retract...

Other than the price (must be some other path to buy these direct?

These come with all bolts, washers, shims, etc. nothing else needed.
I used the short bolts for the wheel arch and the long ones for
the floor and lower side bolt. I believe pre-72 cars will need
an extra hole drilled for the retractor with a plate/nut added.

You can get behind the wheel arch to wire brush and apply rusteater
prior to removing the old bolts. (WARNING these can be a problem and
will strip the head due to undercoat on the last threads of these bolts,
and the thin head, careful!)

>From my experience cutting up several TR6's, three of these are
very strong points and generally don't rust. The lower side bolt is
a different story, these would tear out a metal plug while attempting
to remove the bolt from the "rust bucket" cars.
(I can imagine a belt bolted to this wouldn't be of much use anyway)

Your mileage may vary... for me it was a successful experiment!
