I recentley bought a car that has a wooden steering wheel. It is not a Mona
Lita, it does look like a wheel that I saw pictured in a magazine described
as a "Les Laster" Wheel. It is a 14" venered wood wheel with a small hub that
uses a standard horn push. The center is aluminium with five holes per spoke
(3 spokes total). The hub is plastic and metal and uses a square bush to trap
the center of the wheel. The wheel is attached to the hub by three small
slotted screws. Is this a "Les Laster" wheel? Does anyone have any
information on this wheel?

I am refininshing it and so far it looks great. I can hardly wait to put it
on my 64 TR4 and get rid of the trashed original wheel with the cheap leather
cover.
