This remnds me of the "gadget" that Chrysler put in their cars a few
years back. I can still hear that chimey little voice saying: ding
"The door is ajar" ding "The door is ajar" ding .... Ad infinitem; ad
nauseum. :^)

        Hi, Dan

        You're getting just like me!

        >What I did there was to add a handbrake warning switch (Snip)
        >I also have a solid state (low current drain) warning buzzer
(Snip)
        >I have an electronic switch wired to the fuel sender (Snip)
        >I have another warning chime tied to the fuel pump cutoff
switch (Snip)
        >I have another chime tied to the turn signals (Snip)
        >If you haven't guessed by now, I am at that age where
forgetfullness is
        getting to be an annoyance!

What about another one to remind you to close the driver's door?
For years,
I've had to leave my car and door keys in the fridge each night
on top of
the box containing my sandwich lunch. This is because I can
never find the
keys in the morning - and if I do, I invariably forget my lunch.
There's only one problem with all this. Starting the car with
frozen keys
gives me frostbite at any time of the year.John Macartney
Now in the same museum as the cars he sold when they were new
