Hi, listers
Two queries about TR hoodstick colours which I offered to resolve yesterday
after being at Heritage today.
TR3A. We have a fully restored one but these are black. Looking at them
carefully today, it's clear they've been repainted and I think I can see
traces of the original Sandalwood colour underneath.
TR6 This one in French Blue is also fully restored and the hood stick
colour looks original in semi-matt black.
Now, the big party at the end of May. I was talking to one of the
co-ordinators today who agreed for me to post a copy of one of the leaflets
which all the attending Triumph club members will have - to the web. This
is NOT an official BMIHT site because it's running off my ISP freespace and
will stay there until the end of next month. I may have to move it soon to
another URL but if I do, I'll post the details of the new URL to this list.
For the time being, you'll find it at http://www.toolbox.ndirect.co.uk
I tried scanning the original document to JPEG but it was too large in
terms of download time, so I've copied the original to the best of my
ability. It's a two sider which is sitting on just one page. There are
entry prices shown which apply if you book now. The prices are in Sterling
only but MULTIPLYING the sterling total by 1.65 will give you an
approximate US$ cost. If you pay on arrival on the day, entry will be at
normal prices of about ONE POUND per head more. There's also an 'idiots
map' which hopefully will re-print. However, if it doesn't - e-mail me and
I'll send you directions of how to reach the Centre. It's about 2 hours
drive northwest of London on the M40 motorway.
Any queries - shout!
