Is it a real MIG Patrick?  I mean, does it come equipped with the gas
setup?  It seems a lot of retailers are now using the term MIG for any
wire feed welder....gas or not.  A real MIG will give cleaner welds
and do  bit better on the thin stuff.

If it is a real MIG then $150 sounds pretty cheap...even for US
dollars.  The maximum current rating isn't  important for sheet
metal....you don't need much.  The more expensive machines offer finer
control of the current and wire feed speeds though.

Some day I'm gonna dig up one or more of Ray Gibbons old posts on the
topic.  He completely restored his Bugeye "Kermit" using just a 110
volt Lincoln Mig.  He shared some neat tricks...
