On later 6s the valve cover gasket, the three nuts/fiber washers, and
oil filler cap all have to seal perfectly because of the stupid PCV
system that pulls air through the system into the intake manifold
instead of the air cleaners. If you used the old gasket etc you coukld
have a vacuum leak causing a weak mixture at idler. This coukld explain
the starting issue (been ther,done that)
