In one of those off-the-subject lectures, my old physics professor claimed that a tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide added per battery cell every six months could make a battery last up to 15 years. Had something to do with the O3 formula having an extra atom of oxygen that would combine with the weakened solution, attract the electrolytes from the plates where they collect, and rejuvenate the acid.
