I believe that Scott Helms is the unofficial
coordinator/promoter/solicitor general for this
commemoration/celebration/observance.

Yours truly/sincerely/cheers!

Yep, that's correct Reid. British Car Week will take place this year during
the week of May 18 to 24. I've been the unofficial whatever, along with many
other unofficials from MG's, Triumphs, Healey's, Jaguars, Morgan's etc...
We've all been trying to spread this idea to help get as many of these cars
out on the roads as possible during this one week of the year. Hoping that it
will stirr up some attention, and help preserve some of our favorite marques
by giving some of the unfortunate people who are not aware of them, the chance
to become aquainted with them.

Who knows, maybe they'll even decide to join in on the fun, buy some parts,
subscribe to a magazine or join a club. Maybe one of them will rescue that
poor old LBC that you've been worried about that's been sitting in a
neighbor's yard, slowly wasting away. Maybe, just maybe, when you take your
car out for a spin, you'll see another British car owner tooling around with
his or her favorite car, in the same spirit as you and I. When you do, by all
means, be sure to respond in the proper British manner.

If you have an idea that would help promote British Car Week in your area, or
for your club, please feel free to do so. If you belong to one of the lists
or have a friend that this message was not addressed to, feel free to foreward
it.
