removed the intake and exhaust manifolds for cleaning and painting and was
wondering, does anyone know what the troque specifications are for
re-attaching these two items?

Factory workshop manual says 22-24 ft-lbs for the coarse-thread
studs on both manifolds. For the fine thread studs connecting
the manifolds to carbs/exhaust, 12-14 ft-lbs.

I was taught that manifolds were torqued from the center out, alternating
sides. There's 8 studs on the TR4 engine:

 1 3 5 7
2 4 6 8

So the tightening sequence would be 3 - 5 - 4 - 6 - 1 - 7 - 2 - 8

address how tight to make the 3 bolt connection where the exhaust pipe
meets the exhaust manifold.

12-14 ft-lbs as above.
