As I look out on grey Dublin on a cold March morning
Brad's trip sounds like something I only get to see when the
mind drifts off into never never land at the end of the day.

I tell a small story below of a trip I made, I wonder are there any other
epics??

I made a small epic trip when going to look at my
TR4 prior to purchase. Briefly, I Worked a normal day, went home,
down to the docks and onto the ferry at 11pm, then a three hour trip across
to Wales, off the ferry at 2am and through the welsh mountains on the
old A5 (not quite a freeway) until we arrived at Stourbridge(outside
Birmingham)
at 6am (160miles). 8am McDonalds opened and we have Mc Breakfast.
9am the guy arrives, we look at the car, it looks like the one, but, we are
only 90 miles from TR Bitz and it would be a shame not to check out what
they have. Back into the car (Volvo 740) with promises of "I'm sure I will
take it" and off up to Warrington, some nice stuff but not as nice as the
first one,
after a chat and a tour of the TR Bitz place its 3 0'clock and we still
have 100
miles left to get back to Wales and the ferry home, at this stage it was
time to
hand the driving over to my brother John. We did make it back and had
achieved
door to door in 24 hours. In total I figure we only drove for about 5 miles
ASLEEP!!

I went back 3 weeks later at a much more leisurely pace and bought the TR4.
