I remember many moons ago when helping my brother work on his old Jensen
Interceptor, the handbrake on that was like a manual caliper, imagine a rod
pulling a pair of pliers onto a brake disc, it was like that if I remember
right. This was fixed to the bottom of the hydraulic caliper. It was crap
though and would never stop the beast!!!
