Not all Rolex are big and chunky, of the three I own, only one could be
called chunky. I have a 1927 Bubble back that is almost too dainty to be a
mens watch and a Cellini edition that is quite svelte. I will agree that
the diamond encrusted ones are exceedingly tacky. The Italians are huge
fans of the Rolex Daytona and I am sure many of them drive Ferraris. The
comparison of the Patek to a Ferrari is appropriate as the last I one I
bought (for a client) was 57000.00 (USD).
