Hi, listers;

Thanks to the list tackling the disassembly and rebushing of my GT6+ steering
column was a breeze. The bushings came out without much effort. I also found
out why the horn doesn't work......no horn brush. Some DPO must have tossed
the little sucker during a steering wheel upgrade. Probably had parts left
over. That's the little thing that maintains contact between the horn button
switch and the steering column as the steering wheel rotates. I was going to
order a horn push from one of the big three until I saw the prices!!!!
Basically, it's a plastic insulating tube containing two brass contacts and a
spring to maintain tension and create a ground path. It shouldn't be too
difficult to construct a substitute for a lot less than the $$ everyone wants
for one.
