First off, I just wanted to say thanks for all the responses I received on my
TR4 air filter question. Just about everyone suggested that I buy K & N
filters and just keep cleaning them when they get dirty.
This is a great solution except that when I called K & N, I was told that while
they do supply the TR4, they do not have filters that can accomodate the tube
that slips onto the outside plate of the original filter. This tube originates
from the valve cover and feeds the crankcase gases into the carbs.
I think K & N only supplies SU TR4 filters.
Thanks again for everyone's help and if anyone has any suggestions please let
me know. Otherwise, I'll just bite the bullet and get the paper ones for $80.
