This may not be what you want, but I used a piece of DuPont Stainmaster
carpet in my (POS) Chevette. I think it came from Wal-Mart. It doesn't
match but it's nicer than scuffing your feet on the gucky stuff that used
to be carpet.
You can get small carpet runners (floor mats) - it's up to you... I have
heard that the binding on the bottom can collect water... in the 'vette I
really could care less (esp. right now... brakes failed) about rust...
It might also pay to visit the auto. upholsterer's and see if they have
any scraps you can beg off 'em. Then you're sure to get good stuff (you
hope, anyway!)
