I too have only nice things to say about spitbits. I've talked with nigel
several times, yet the only part I've ordered from him (and the only money
he's made from me) was a hard to find part he had to go searching for, then
call me back (and chat on his dime long distance) later to met me know he'd
found it. he couldn't have made very much off the part, yet he seemed
happy just to be supplying it. incredible.
no interest, blah, blah, just a satisfied and amazed customer.

I'll second that about SpitBits. Nigel can get his hands on parts
that the Big 3 don't want to bother with. He got me the right side
engine valence that nobody else seems to carry, he carries the
gloveboxes also. When it comes to the early spitfires SpitBits has
my vote. As usual, no financial interest just a very satisfied
customer.
