Nikki, I had a similar noise coming from the rear of my 78 Spit. I asked the local brit mechanic to check. He could find nothing. The noise was so worrisom, i began to check. I finally found that the bolts that hold the brake plate on were all loose. One had fallen completly out and was makeing the noise. You might want to check by removing the rear wheels (start with the side it sounds like the noise is coming from), remove the drum, and look for the loose bolts that hold the braking assymbly in place. Good Luck!! Troy Johnson 78 Spitfire |
