As far as I'm aware, the engine's originally a Buick (216cu??). It's been used
on all manner of UK cars, right up to a hairy 4.6 in recent TVRs and a torquey
4.6 in the latest Range Rover.

The Land Rover Discovery ES I've just ordered has got a 4.0 injection version.
