Get a piece of 2/4 and place it atop the jack. This will stop the jack
scratching up your car.
If you are going to remove a (single) wheel then you can use the lower
suspension mounts. It is best to use a large part of the frame. Be
careful not to crush any protruding hoses or wires. The stock TR4 jack
lifts up one _side_ at a time, front and back. The jack point is in the
middle of the floor (under the seat)
Nut sure if TR6 is the same. You may want to find a Haynes manual, they
clear up a lot of newbie-questions in the tune-up section.
Any Haynes book is good to look at... if you can't find a TR6 manual, get
one for a car that has a frame-and-body (ie small truck)

Go out with your golf clubs, you will have more fun on the course ;-)

The only reason a game is called golf is because the other 4-letter words
have been used up.
