Just received my freshly machined block, polished crankshaft and machined
TR6 head.
I sent them out while I restored the engine compartment. The engine
compartment is now stripped to bare metal and awaiting a coat of etching
filler, then hi-build tinted primer and base-coat/clear-coat respray.
I will reassemble the engine myself, saving quite a bit of money and
gaining experience in the process(!).
I have my trusty Bentley manual in hand... It's a great feeling to know
I'll have a reliable engine from now on.
