No.  TR4 frames are the same, with only minor changes if any, from CT1 to the
end of the TR4 model (CT40304, I think).  The TR4A frame was redesigned to
accomodate IRS and is quite different.  Triumph intended all TR4A's to have
independent rear suspension (IRS).

However, the TR4A does come in two flavors 1) Independent Rear Suspension
(IRS) or 2) rigid axle (which means it is rear-suspended sort of like a TR4).
The rigid axle configuration was the result of US dealers saying that they
could better sell a car w/o IRS.  The frame for either config is not the same
as the TR4 frame.
