James: How's about a caculator that will show % change in fuel flow when a
pair of needle values for SU or Strom. carbs are entered. It would be the
area of the main jet minus the area of the needle at each measuring point
as published in the needle tables, available from the manufacturers,
expressed as a percentage when a pair of needles are compared.

appreciate that trait in others. I don't like to think that I let other
