What about galvanizing the metal after it has been welded? I have seen a product in a Petersen book called 'spray galv'.. would this do the trick? Although I must admit, the undercoat (where it was still intact) did an excellent job of keeping rust away from the body. The paint underneath wasn't even damaged when I removed it. -Malcolm '62 TR4, 3 colors now ;-) |
