Hmm, Vacume advance/retard thing sticking? You have hickup when the manifold is going from very low perssure to normal pressure. Carboretter piston sticking, low oil in the piston, wrong type of oil. Faulty cap on damper, faulty damper. Non standad manifold / air filters? What happen when you put your foot down, sudenly the manifold is re-pressurised, so you get a shock wave, but unless there is somthing very diferent about your car this should be taken cair of by the boys at Triumph.
