A word of advice: furniture/paint/varnish stripper works real well at removing paint of all kinds! The woodgrain paint on my metal dash took about half an hour to remove with this stuff. It worked best on the glovebox door, because of the large flat surface (peeled off in one go- the rest will need spot applications) Never tried this stuff on auto paint, but it's rumoured to work... when I get some 'experienced' sheetmetal I will try it out. next step: fun with contact cement! -Malcolm |
