Yo, Dude!! It was me, here in California. Here is a resend. Enjoy. Did the same for my 79 with a set of bone yard spares. I found the rubbing alcohol removed the old finish much better than Jasco, or this other super stuff called "Aircraft Paint Remover". I used 5 coats of clear gloss Verithane with 600 grade sanding between. We applied an Elm burl venier. It looks like the wood in a Rolls. Hang pieces verticle to avoid dust accumulation on final coats. Nice. Real Nice. -- Brian W. Neuschwander |
