The dash is out and cleaned! I feel much better now. A few ponderings, though-- There are 2 metal 'cuts' (?) down at the bottom center, about the control panel (wiper, choke, etc). Are these primitive crumple zones, or are they not supposed to be there? I am going to leave it alone, but I'm a bit curious all the same. Does anyone know the thread size for the knurled nuts on the back of the gauges? I broke a stud... there's lots of bolt left but I will need a new nut. Thanks, -Malcolm |
