The blower has three wires associated with it - Black, Green/Brown, and
Green/Yellow. The Black wire is ground, and the other two are power leads -
one for high speed and the other for low speed ( I don't recall off hand which
is which). You have one Green wire going to the switch, and the G/N and G/Y
wires go between the switch and the fan moptor. To test, just connect the
black wire to ground and the other two wires, one at a time, to the green
wire. If the motor is good, it will work. If not, the worst thing that will
happen is you will blow the fuse in the Green wire circuit. You will probably
get a gawd-awful sqealing noise, which may go away after a while, or it may go
away after proper lubrication. Or may not!
How to connect it to the switch? I don't have one handy right now, so I can't
tell you exactly, but you should be able to figure it out by experimentation.
Just switch wires around till it works.The worst thing that can happen is the
fan will be off when the switch is on, or it will be on when the switch is
off. Tomorrow I will get my switch out of the box and tell you where to
connect each wire. If the switch has numbers on it, the Green wire goes to #
4, the G/N to # 6, and the G/Y to # 8.
