Andrew, Yes you can braze with your MIG. You need to buy Silicon Bronze 8 mm Wire. It is hard to find and not cheap (about three times the price of steel wire) A good welding supply shop should be able to get it for you. It works best with pure Argon cover gas. In the welding world it is used to braze galvanized sheet metal. It produces a nice flat bead that is easily ground. Of course don't use it for structural repairs! Rob |
