TR6 - 5 speed gearbox conversion

TR Bitz in the UK are offering a 5 speed gearbox conversion for the TR6 using 
a Toyota Supra box with a special bell housing. Price 1275 pounds. Has anyone 
heard whether this is a good conversion compared to fitting an A-type 
overdrive? With the price of an second hand overdrive gearbox at $700 plus the 
costs of reconditioning & fitting it seems a reasonable deal. Plus a smooth 
shifting modern box does sound appealing.
