anybody know where powder-coat came from and how long it's been around. Well it is not something that just came around, it started with WW11 bombers, NASCAR started using it in the late 50's/ 60's, then the trades started in the 70's. Most all of your underground pipes, water & sewer are P/C, most all of your outdoor furniture, most appliances, in the 80's antique cars started, so it's not new, just getting around to very popular uses.
