I tend to agree with Roger and wish to thank him for jogging my memory
about a similar problem I had with a Bronco II that I owned. The
non-starting phenom can be perplexing at best. In this case, I had a
similar situation to that described by Todd, so I bought a new ground
wire and cleaned the frame and motor contact areas and voila! it started
like new. The TR6 ground strap being exposed can be even more
susceptible to oxidation and corrosion. I haven't experienced this with
my TR6 as I have replaced the ground cable at least 2 times in 21
years of ownership.
