I have thought the same!
I thought about using the top off of a GT6 or BGT
I think the trouble spots would be;
1.) The gas tank and filler would have to be moved.
2.) Getting the windows to line up. If we are lucky,
we would only have to trim the tops to match the top.
3.) Uprating the rear springs to handle the extra load.
4.) You might get away with stock brakes if you are kind to them.
I can only guess that you would be adding a couple of hundred puonds
to the car.
It's a lot of fun to think about.
I have too much on my plate now!
