Hi fellow listers,
It's been a couple weeks since I asked for advice on my dashboard
replacement project. I thought I'd post to the list and tell everyone
what happened so far. Last week I got my dash from TRF. Nice
construction, but the color was kinda dull. I know that it was not
supposed to be gloss, but I was disappointed in the lack of rich color.
Prior to getting the dash, I had showed the pictures of the Prestige
dash's to my wife. She's taken quite a liking to the TR6. She
immediately suggested that I order one of the exotic wood ones. I
muttered something about alot of money and said I'd wait until the TRF
dash came in to make a decision.
After showing my bride the TRF dash, we both agreed to call Prestige and
order an OEM dash. Not the solid, but the laminated one with the high
gloss finish. I'll post a note when it comes in, likely around
Christmas.
