"Generic" TR6 shocks.

Whilst pondering some TR6 improvement projects that would fit within my
meager budget, I considered front shocks. Seems the cheapest from the
mail order cat.'s is @ $35 each. That's seemed kinda pricey to me. Any
one have a part number for a more "generic" replacement? I.E., is there
a more commonly available size that fits and functions without the price
penalty of being a special order item? A nice over the counter $10 Pep
Boyz would do fine, until I win the lottery and get the Koni's.
