Listers, unleaded gas did not come into being in 1975 as stated, remember Amoco was "White" unleaded gas in regular or premium in the late 1920's. Also remember all boats used unleaded in the 1930, & 40's before hardened valve seats and such. All marinas carried unleaded way-way back when, and these boats were equipped with Packard, Ford & Chevrolet engines. John, as for hi-test if you are not racing or have a high comp. engine just money wasted for premium. |
