For vanity plates, the place to live is Kansas!

Most of you poor saps live in states where, if someone already has SPITFIRE
you have no hope. But here in the Land of Oz (home of the Solo II Nationals)
we do our ego plates by county.

Thus I have SOLO II on the van that tows my Prepared/Production Spitfire.
Mark Alft also has SOLO II on his Camaro.
But mine is a Saline County tag and his is a Sedgwick County tag. We could,
theoretically, have 105 cars with the same tag, distinguished only by the
county letters, and that doesn't count trucks, motorcycles, vintage, etc.
When my street Spitfire hits 35 in two years, I'm going to retire the SOLO 2
tag on it for a SOLO II vintage tag. The family car has SOLOTWO on it (yes,we
are a 7-letter state - for which I'd do SPITFIR if that was the direction I
was going).
