I suggest you take the car to a mechanic that can perform a cylindar
leakdown test and see how much blow-by you are getting. I have
experienced a similar problem with a Spitfire 1500 when I accidently put
a highly milled (over 150 thousands)head on top of high compression
pistons. Yikes 260-265 pounds of compression.
