Is there a place that sells a wrench that can actually get one of these
copper brake line nuts off without destroying everything? What I need is a
7/16 "nearly closed box wrench". I remember reading a discussion on this a
month or two ago, so I know they exist, or did exist at one time. This is
too specialised a tool for Sears or Farm and Fleet to carry. Any
suggestions from the list?
==================
Will - it's called a "flare nut wrench". Available from Sears, or damn
near any other store that carries automotive tools. Looks just like you
described - an "almost" closed box end wrench. Comes in the same variety
of sizes as other wrenches, both metric and SAE.
