RE your question about clubs, there are 4 national US Triumph clubs that I
know of:
6Pack - TR250 & TR6 only
Vintage Triumph Register - all Triumphs
Triumph Register of America - TR2-4 only
TR8 Club of America - TR7 & TR8 only
I belong to 3 because I have a TR6 and a TR3. Definately the most useful club
is the local club - Richmond Triumph Register (which is a chapter for VTR,
6Pack, & TRA). You will learn more in one meeting of the local club, than you
will in a year with a national club. With you being located in DC, contact
