Can anyone help me identify the differences between the numerous
distributors fitted to the TR6?
What I am specifically interested in is the degrees of advance on each
model. I'm looking to replace my current dizzy as it has no tacho takeoff
(originally from a 2500 saloon) but I think I remember hearing that the
earlier TR6 distributors with a 3 degree (?) advance were the best in terms
of performance.
I don't intend to make use of the vacuum advance (and certainly not the
vacuum
retard!).
Any help appreciated.
