Wiring Harnes question

Hey all,

        I have almost taken all of the interior out. All that is left is the
wiring harness. Can someone tell me if they have ever made there own
harness? And is it hard to make. Is it cheaper to buy one from the parts
specialist or cheaper to make my own?
