Be sure to clean all of the old crud off the pan and block > before putting on the new gasket. Be sure to straighten the flange before reassembly. Not hard. Just put some wood under it section by section and hammer in flat again from the top side (Gasket side). Especiall around the bolt holes. Many leaky pans result from reassembly of bent pans. Not amount of gasket cement and tightening will seal properly if the flange is wavey. -- Brian W.
