This weekend I bit the bullet and installed an electric cooling fan. I bought a 14 inch Imperial fan at my local AutoZone for about $65.00. I mounted it on the front of the radiator in a "pusher" configuration. I also removed the crankshaft driven fan. My highly scientific, seat-of-the-pants research (read test drive) indicates that there MIGHT be a slight performance improvement. Then again, maybe it was just a tail wind. BTW, I now have a NLS yellow plastic 7 blade fan in my parts heap. Nyah, nyah! Regards, Mark Stahlke |
